Jose M. Figueroa

Jose M. Figueroa, age 82, beloved husband of the late Maria L. Figueroa, has passed into the Peaceful rest of the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2021, in Ludlow health and Rehabilitation center, Fairfield, CT. He enjoyed dancing and looked forward to many years when his wife was next to him and travel to Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. Jose was born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to the late Bartolo Figueroa and the late Amparo Rivera; Jose was a good man who loved his wife and every day wanted to be next to her.

When his wife's health declined and attention to care became that of a 24 hours attention, he never hesitated regardless of the day to be next to her, see her, spend time with her and further create memories to last a lifetime!

He is the father of Migdalia Santiago, Elizabeth Casagrande, Diana I. Cook, and Jacqueline Roman; Grandfather of Aisha Moreno, Michael Vargas, Angel Ortiz, Luis E. Perez, Tara A. Perez, Manuel Santiago, III, Jonathan Santiago, Thomas A. Cedeño, Danielle E. Cedeño, and Frank A. Casagrande; his brothers Efrain Figueroa and William Figueroa, and a host of the relatives and friends who will dearly miss him; he is also survived by his sisters Damaris Figueroa and Gladys Reyes; and a host of nieces, nephews and relative sand friends who will forever cherish the memories he leaves behind.
