Joseph Dinky Diaz

January 21, 2020 — January 21, 2020

Joseph "Dinky" Diaz, age 48 of Norwalk, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Tueday, Jan. 21, 2020 at his residence. He is the loving husband of Lissette Melendez Diaz. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of Maria Ortiz and Pedro Diaz. During his life, Joseph discovered he loved all animals, especially dogs and pigeons. He was a jokester and a prankster, whose laugh and smile lit up every room. He also loved taking walks; whether it be through the woods to look at the birds or through the cemetery. Most of all, Dinky was an amazing father, a fantastic person with a gigantic heart. He will truly be missed by all. Joseph is the loving father of Joseph Justice Diaz and Jodelisse Justine Diaz; the stepfather of four; the grandfather of Samiera, Zamiyah, Ariiana, Michael "The Man" Parker, Brielyz, Bella, Jason and Jordan; and the brother of Rudy Martinez, Hector Diaz, Peter Diaz, and Jennifer Diaz Medina. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews that will sorely miss him. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT 06608. Final Disposition will be held privately and at the convenience of his family. Please explore his memorial page, where you may share your memories, prayers and so much more found EXCLUSIVELY at www.luzdepaz.com.
