Joseph A Sergeon

Joseph A. Sergeon, 68, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2022, at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT.  He was born in Jamaica to the late Gerald Sergeon and the late Myrtle Morgan.  He moved to the United States in 1985 where he met his beloved wife Maria D. Franky Sergeon.

Joseph was a dedicated employee who spent most of his career in the transportation field as a bus driver and taxi driver.  He enjoyed a competitive game of dominoes.  Above all his favorite pastime were the moments he spent with his family.

Aside from his beautiful wife Maria, Joseph leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children Andrene, Karen, Eric, Avale Sergeon and Chris Thompson; many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his adoring siblings Evadne Sergeon Crawford, Merlene Sergeon Cunningham,  Alexander, Levi, Donald, Delroy, Hilton and Lola Sergeon; and a host of friends and family that will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by a brother, George Sergeon.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
