Juan Irizarry

Juan Irizarry, age 69, of Bridgeport has passed away into the Peaceful Rest of the Lord on March 12, 2022,  in his home,  while surrounded by family members.  He is the son of the late Monica Santiago and was born in San German, Puerto Rico prior to his relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago.  Juan was known as a very meticulous man, very detailed in his things and yet one who enjoyed a great party and being the life of the party.  He was also very simple in his ways, whereas simply a trip to the flea market was a highlight of the day.  He enjoyed working on cars and really enjoyed working at  Majestic Gifts where he was employed for over 20 years and felt that all that worked there were like family.  

He is the beloved husband of Maria Saez of Bridgeport.  Father of Jeanette Irizarry, and the children he obtained through marriage whom he loved as his own, Luis Saez, Alez Saez and Javier Saez.  He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who will forever miss him.  He was preceded in death by his son the late Isaiah Nuñez.  

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 4-7 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
