Con profundo y sentido pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro querido hermano, Julio Cesar Larrea Santana, un talentoso y dedicado pintor, quien partió de este mundo el 17 de febrero de 2026 en Bridgeport, Connecticut, a la edad de 81 años. La vida de Julio estuvo entretejida con hilos coloridos de amor y creatividad, dejando una huella imborrable en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Nacido el 24 de octubre de 1944 en Manta, Ecuador, Julio llevó consigo su espíritu carismático y jovial mientras abrazaba la vida y todo lo que esta le ofrecía. Sus amigos y familiares lo describen como una persona amigable y sociable, alguien que iluminaba cada reunión con su sonrisa contagiosa y su cálida personalidad. It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Julio Cesar Larrea Santana, a talented and dedicated painter, who left this world on February 17, 2026, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at the age of 81. Julio's life was woven with colorful threads of love and creativity, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Born on October 24, 1944, in Manta, Ecuador, Julio brought his charismatic and jovial spirit with him as he embraced life and all it had to offer. His friends and family would describe him as friendly and social, someone who made every gathering brighter with his infectious smile and warm personality. Julio had a remarkable ability to connect with people, and he cherished every moment spent in the company of loved ones. He was not just a painter by trade, but a true artist at heart, dedicating his life to improving homes and businesses with his skilled brushstrokes.
As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Julio took immense pride in his family, relishing the joy of watching them grow and thrive. As we gather to honor the life and memory of Julio Larrea, we invite friends and family to join us for a viewing on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. In celebrating his incredible life, we are reminded of the love he so freely gave and the joy he brought to those around him.
