Justino Rivera

Justino Rivera, age 78 of Bridgeport, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital he is the beloved husband of Maria A. Morales Rivera. Justino was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico; son of the late Fernando Rivera and Natividad Vazquez prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was an interesting and charismatic man, who found joy in gardening and shopping. Justino had an impressive clothing collection in addition to his sizable collections of stuffed animals, radios and clocks. He had an eye for figuring out how things worked; coming up with inventions and deciphering how to fix them. More than anything, Justino loved his family and was an amazing father grandfather and husband. He is the loving father of Jose Rivera, Justino Rivera, Jr. Carmen Rivera Soler, Maria E. Rivera Aspuru, Maria L. Rivera, Angel Rivera, and Juan Rivera; the grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers.
