Karen B. Lopez Hernandez

Karen B. Lopez Hernandez, 41, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT.  She was born in Guatemala to Ricardo Hernandez Duarte and Thelma Ruth Hernandez.

Karen was a nurturing person with a beautiful soul who cared deeply for others.  She dedicated her life to developing the minds of children as an educator in Guatemala.  She treasured the time she spent with her family.  Her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her precious son Wilson.

Aside from her parents Karen leaves behind to cherish her memories her precious son Wilson Cardona Hernandez and her loving brother Jessell Hernandez Hernandez and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Final disposition will be held in Guatemala.
