In Loving Memory of
Lorenzo Quarles
Lorenzo Quarles was a man whose presence could light up any room. Known for his infectious smile, quick wit, and vibrant personality, Lorenzo had a special way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and valued. He never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. His sense of humor, storytelling, and playful nature brought laughter and joy to family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.Lorenzo deeply valued family and community. He loved gathering with loved ones for cookouts, celebrations, and community events. Whether sitting around a card table playing a spirited game of spades or sharing stories with family, he cherished the moments that brought people together. He was the kind of person who believed in connection, loyalty, and showing up for the people he loved.
At home, Lorenzo found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved cooking soul food for family and friends, often filling the house with both delicious meals and laughter. He enjoyed relaxing with a good movie and had a special appreciation for comedy. His ability to find humor even during difficult times was one of the many qualities that made him unforgettable.Lorenzo cared deeply about others and had a heart for helping people. He was passionate about encouraging and uplifting those around him, especially within the Black and Hispanic communities. He often shared words of wisdom, motivation, and support with anyone who needed it. He believed in people, saw potential in others, and wanted to see those around him succeed.
Throughout his life, Lorenzo held a variety of positions in customer service, sales, dispatching, security, and manufacturing. His experiences were diverse, but those who knew him best will remember him not for any particular job title, but for his generous spirit, resilience, charisma, and the love he shared with others.
Lorenzo was the beloved son of the late Paul Quarles and Sharon Quarles. He was the devoted father of his cherished daughter, Loren Quarles, who was the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Jamarr Quarles and Melissa Quarles. As the oldest sibling, Lorenzo was protective, supportive, and always looked out for his family. He truly was his brother's keeper and a source of strength for those he loved.
Though Lorenzo's journey was not without challenges, his life was defined by far more than the obstacles he faced. He will be remembered for his laughter, his big heart, his love for family, his ability to bring people together, and the countless lives he touched along the way.
His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
