Luz “Lucy” Killian, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9th, 2026, in Fairfield, CT, surrounded by love. Lucy was born to the late Dionisio Colon and Trigidia Colon-Sanchez and lived a life defined by devotion to family, hard work, and a spirit that could light up any room.

Lucy was a proud and loving mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She was the devoted mother of two children, her beloved daughter Carmen Valle and her late son Angel Valle II. She is survived by her loving daughter Carmen Valle and her adored son-in-law Carlos Agosto. Lucy was the grandmother of Tasha Agosto and Ian Jackson who she adored , and the late Angel Valle III, whom she loved deeply. She also leaves behind her brother Dionisio Sanchez, and was predeceased by her brother Sammy Sanchez. In addition, she is remembered by her niece’s, nephew’s, extended relatives and dear friends who will miss her presence.

Known to many simply as “Lucy,” she was beloved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a contagious laugh, a vibrant sense of humor, and a bold, firecracker personality that made her unforgettable. Lucy had a natural ability to connect with people and could make a friend anywhere she went. Whether it was a quick conversation that turned into a lasting friendship or simply sharing a laugh with someone new, Lucy left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

At her core, Lucy was a true family woman. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she loved them fiercely and unconditionally. She took pride in being present for her family and always made sure they knew they were loved.

Lucy also had a generous and giving heart. She was the kind of person who would go out of her way to help someone in need without hesitation. Her kindness, strength, and hardworking nature were qualities that defined her life and the way she treated others.

She enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures. Lucy loved traveling with her daughter and looked forward to their time together exploring new places. She also enjoyed frequent visits to the casino, where she could relax, have fun, and share laughs. Wherever she went, Lucy had a way of bringing people together and making every moment memorable.

Lucy’s warmth, humor, strength, and loving spirit will live on through the many lives she touched. While she will be deeply missed, the memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
