Luz M. Sanchez, a beacon of joy and kindness, left this world on December 20, 2025, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Born on May 29, 1960, in Corozal, Puerto Rico, Luz carried the warmth of her homeland in her heart, bringing sunshine to those around her.

Luz was revered as a happy soul with a grand presence that could light up any room she entered. She was known as the life of the party, effortlessly drawing people in with her caring nature and big-hearted spirit. A graceful dancer, her zest for life was infectious, making it impossible not to smile in her presence. Her keen eye for design translated beautifully into her hobbies, where she created warm and inviting spaces filled with love and beauty. As a talented cook, her culinary creations brought families together, leaving lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

She shared her life with her devoted husband, Ruben Dario Larez, who was never far from her side. Together, they built a warm and loving home filled with laughter. Luz is survived by her loving mother, Josefina Santos, and her cherished children: sons Vincent Gonzalez (Doreen) and Victor Gonzalez Jr., along with her beloved daughter, Veronica Gonzalez. Her grandchildren, Xavier, Giselle, and Gwenivere, were the apples of her eye, infusing her life with endless joy. She was looking forward to meeting another grandchild, due to arrive in July 2026, a blessing that will remain forever in the hearts of her family.

Luz was also a cherished sister, leaving behind her siblings Paulita, Jose, Victor, Frances, Norma, and Maria. Her familial love extended to many nephews and nieces, who all adored her for the warmth she shared and the memories they created together.

Luz M. Sanchez will be remembered for her incredible ability to lift spirits and unite those around her with her infectious laughter and loving kindness. A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, CT. As we gather to celebrate her life, we honor the legacy of love that she has left behind, a legacy that will continue to thrive in the hearts of all who knew her.
