Manuel A. Matias

Manuel A. Matias age 48, of Bridgeport  has passed away on October 31, 2022 in his home.  He was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico but moved to the Bridgeport area at an early age.  Manny as many graciously called him is the son of Carmen and Juan Hernandez of Bridgeport . His joking personality allowed many who came to embrace his joyful persona wherever he went. Manny would lend a hand to whomever needed it regardless of who it may be.  Truly a heart with priceless value will be missed by all .

In addition to his parents, Manny is survived by his children Monica I. Matias, Juan Matias, and Dianny Matias; his siblings Zaira Matias and Dalma Torres;  his spouse Dircimar DosSantos; and many other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.  He is predeceased by a son Manny A. Matias III (Little Manny).

Service will take place on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, 3-4 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT

Final deposition will be private.
