Maria de los Angeles Sandoval Pivaral de Ramirez, age 94, of Stratford, Connecticut, passed away on September 9, 2026 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. She was born on January 1, 1932, in Guatemala, the beloved daughter of the late Jesus Sandoval and Filomena Pivaral.

Maria devoted much of her life to her home and family. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and woman of faith, she found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by those she loved. Family was at the center of her life, and time spent together brought her immeasurable joy.

She will be lovingly remembered for her caring and endearing nature, her generous spirit, and the love she so freely gave to others. Maria enjoyed traveling, attending celebrations and parties, and especially celebrating her birthday each year. She also cherished worshipping the Lord, and her faith remained an important part of her life.

Maria leaves to cherish her memory her children, Federico, Maria, Gloria, Sandra, and Brenda; her 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, along with extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by her love and presence.

Maria's life was one rooted in family, faith, generosity, and togetherness. Though her family will deeply miss her physical presence, the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lessons she shared will continue to live in their hearts for generations to come.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, beginning at 5:00 PM at the Fraternidad Cristiana, 1332 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT with funeral services to follow on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the church. Maria will be laid to rest at Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

May her memory forever remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

Maria de los Angeles Sandoval Pivaral de Ramirez, de 94 años, residente de Stratford, Connecticut, falleció el 9 de septiembre de 2026 en Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Nació el 1 de enero de 1932 en Guatemala, hija amada de los ya fallecidos Jesus Sandoval y Filomena Pivaral.

Maria dedicó gran parte de su vida a su hogar y a su familia. Como madre, abuela, bisabuela y mujer de fe, encontraba su mayor felicidad rodeada de las personas que amaba. Su familia ocupaba un lugar central en su vida, y compartir con ellos era una de sus mayores alegrías.

Será recordada con profundo cariño por su naturaleza amorosa y afectuosa, su espíritu generoso y la manera tan especial en que brindaba amor a quienes la rodeaban. Maria disfrutaba viajar, asistir a celebraciones y fiestas, y esperaba con especial alegría la celebración de su cumpleaños cada año. También encontraba gran consuelo y fortaleza adorando al Señor, manteniendo siempre su fe como parte importante de su vida.

Maria deja para honrar y atesorar su memoria a sus hijos, Federico, Maria, Gloria, Sandra y Brenda; sus 17 nietos y 17 bisnietos, además de numerosos familiares y amigos cuyas vidas fueron bendecidas por su amor y presencia.

La vida de Maria estuvo fundamentada en la familia, la fe, la generosidad y la unión. Aunque su ausencia física será profundamente sentida, el amor que entregó, los recuerdos que creó y las enseñanzas que dejó permanecerán vivos en los corazones de su familia por muchas generaciones.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el jueves,17 de septiembre de 2026, comenzando a las 5:00 PM en la Fraternidad Cristiana, 1332 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT, seguido por los servicios fúnebres el 18 de septiembre de 2026, a las 10:00 AM en la iglesia. Maria será sepultada en Mt. Grove Cemetery en Bridgeport, Connecticut.
