Maria Elena Moncada, age 56, returned to the Loving Arms of the Lord on Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport. She was the beloved wife of William A. Moncada. Maria was born in Medellin, Colombia; daughter of the late Heriberto Alfonso Chavarriaga and Bertha Alicia Giraldo. She is the caring mother of David L. Moncada, Brian A. Moncada, Juliana C. Moncada-Torres and Paula A. Moncada- Coriano; and the adoring grandmother of Jason Malyek Torres, Vanessa L. Perez, Jhanetxi A. Torres, Jaeliani Moncada, Sebastian Moncada, Ariella Moncada, Jhenali K. Torres and Elena A. Coriano.
