Marie Linnette Abrams

Marie Linnette Abrams, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left this world on September 11, 2025, in Niantic, Connecticut, at the age of 56. Born on December 29, 1968, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Marie was the spark that ignited laughter and joy wherever she went. She had a genuine spirit, often described as blunt yet endearing, and was truly the life of every party.

Throughout her life, family and friends meant everything to Marie. She embraced each moment spent with them, crafting memories that will forever be cherished. As a proud mother to her four children, Michael Ramos (Jassmin), Lynnette Escobar-Garcia (Junivel), Yesenia Ramos, and Jasmine Davila (Hugo), who she held close to her heart, she found her greatest joys in life. Her loving nature extended to her twelve grandchildren, with whom she shared endless laughter and warmth.

Marie was not only dedicated to her family but was also adored by her siblings—Hector, Elia, and Jesse—who will always remember her for her vibrant personality and hearty laughter. Marie adored gardening, loved walking, and found joy in the rhythms of freestyle music, often enjoying cocktails with friends as they danced to the soundtracks of their lives.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus G. Abrams and Irma Rosado, who undoubtedly provided her the love and foundation that she continued to share with those she treasured throughout her life.

In celebration of her life, friends and family are invited to gather for a viewing on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.

Though she may no longer walk among us, the spark that was Marie Linnette Abrams will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy of love, joy, and connection will remain a guiding light, reminding us to cherish every moment spent with our loved ones.
