Marina Nieves

Marina Nieves, age 75, of Trumbull, Connecticut, passed away April 22, 2020 at St. Joseph's Manor in Trumbull. She was born in Guaynabo, PR, daughter of Juan Nieves and Maria Rivera prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. a Joyful woman full of life, had a smile to share with everyone she came across. She worked hard to make sure she provided for her children to make sure they never went without. She had an amazing ability to never show others when times would get rough or if she was encountering a tough time. Regardless of the moment, she only showed the smiles and when sharing with others nobody could ever tell but it was believed that mainly it was because she never wanted anyone to worry about her. No doubts she was a champion and stopped at nothing to get reaching levels which allowed her children to see that through hard work and dedication they also may accomplish whatever they wanted. She would give you the shirt off her back and her giving nature stopped at nothing regardless of what it was nor who you were, she simply . She is the loving mother of Maria Jones, Azarel Nieves, and Marisol Figueroa. and in addition is also survived by a host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her. Her heart will never be forgotten and her smile will never be lost because in their minds it is the things that they cherish which will allow her memory to remain alive forever. She will be missed by all; A Viewing is scheduled to take place at a time to be determined and will be held at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E.
