Miguel Martinez Marin
March 30, 2003 – May 31, 2026
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Miguel Martinez Marin announces his passing on May 31, 2026, at the age of 23.
Born on March 30, 2003, Miguel was the beloved son of the late Angel Martinez Fariño and Crecensia Marin Morales. Originally from Mexico, Miguel came to the United States with his family at a young age and made Bridgeport, Connecticut his home. He attended the Bridgeport Public Schools, including Columbus School, Black Rock School, and later graduated from Bullard-Havens Technical High School.
Miguel was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He was a devoted son, a loyal friend, and someone who could always be counted on when help was needed. Following the passing of his father in 2021, Miguel stepped forward without hesitation to help care for and support his family. His willingness to put others before himself was a reflection of the strength, maturity, and love that defined his character.
Those who knew Miguel will remember his infectious smile, his sense of humor, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him. He had a special way of making people feel welcome and valued, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
Miguel had a passion for car racing and was a dedicated fan of the New York Yankees. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially on the baseball field, where he often shared his love of the game with neighborhood children. Whether teaching them how to throw, catch, or simply encouraging them to have confidence in themselves, Miguel found joy in helping others learn and grow. The time he spent mentoring and playing with local children reflected the generosity and kindness that came naturally to him.
Above all else, Miguel treasured his family and friendships. The memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Miguel is survived by his loving mother, Crecensia Marin Morales; numerous relatives; and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by his presence. He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Angel Martinez Fariño.
Though his time on earth was far too brief, the impact he made on the lives of others will endure for generations to come.
