Nady Hernandez Amaya

Nady Hernandez Amaya, a beloved daughter, mother, wife, sister, and friend, departed from this world on April 7, 2024, in Bridgeport, CT. She was born on February 10, 1994, in the bustling city of Bronx, NY.

Nady touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kind spirit and unwavering love for her family. Above all she loved the Lord with all her being. She was a faithful servant of the Lord who actively praised and worshipped him at Iglesia Cran in Easton, CT. She was a dedicated youth leader and ministered in the church as well as the church treasurer.  Her memory will forever be cherished by those who survive her: her father, Leonidas Amaya; husband, Quevin Hernandez; daughters Daniela Nea Hernandez and Isabela Nea Hernandez; son Eliam Ithail Hernandez; sister Lorena Amaya; brother Elmer Amaya; sisters Silpa Jimenez Gonzalez and Jacqueline Amaya Ramirez; brother Bryan Amaya; and sister Maria Hernandez.  She is predeceased by her mother Bertila Gonzalez.

In honor of Nady's beautiful life, visitation services will be held at Iglesia Cran (Covenant Church of Easton) located at 1 Sports Hill Road, Easton CT. The first visitation will take place on April 12, 2024, starting at 6:30 PM until 10:00 PM. The second visitation will be held on April 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment will follow immediately after at St. John's Cemetery, Stratford, CT.

Nady's presence in the lives of those around her will be deeply missed but her legacy of love, kindness and loyalty to God will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
