Nilda Ester Jimenez

Nilda Ester Jimenez, a beloved wife, daughter, and cherished member of her family, passed away on September 14, 2026, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She was born on April 4, 1960, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, and carried with her the pride of her birthplace throughout her life.

Nilda will be remembered with love for the gifts she brought to those around her. She loved and connected with everyone around through her humorous personality and love of life. She was a strong willed and free spirited woman who loved and cared deeply for her family.  She was talented and enjoyed crocheting, and that quality was part of the way she moved through life and connected with others. Her presence brought warmth to her family, and her memory will remain a lasting comfort to all who knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her devoted partner, Juan Adorno. She is also survived by children, Katherine Jimenez; Ann Rios; Roberto Torres; and Federico A. Barbosa, her siblings and a host of friends and relatives. Each of them carries forward treasured memories of Nilda and the love she shared so freely.

As her family and friends mourn her passing, they also celebrate the life she lived and the bonds she nurtured. Nilda Ester Jimenez will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
