Norma Mae Franklin, beloved daughter, mother, and friend, has passed away at the age of 81 on February 5, 2024. She was born on March 17, 1942, in Kingston Jamaica, to her parents Joseph H. Marshall and Ines N. Boddoo.

Norma led a fulfilling life as an Aide in the Healthcare profession, dedicating herself to caring for others with kindness and compassion. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her career and into her personal life where she was a of support for her family friends. Those who knew Norma will remember her for her strong personality, stunning beauty, and loving nature. She had the remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel valued and cherished. Her warm heart and empathetic spirit touched the lives of many. In her free time, Norma found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved nothing more than going to the beach or visiting parks, immersing herself in nature's beauty. These serene moments brought her solace and tranquility. Norma's culinary skills were renowned among those fortunate enough to taste her meals. She took great pride in preparing delicious dishes that united loved ones around the dinner table. Her cooking was not only a testament to her talent but also a testament to the love she poured into everything she did. Her memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family and friends. Norma is survived by her daughters Paulette Gordon, Jacqueline McLaughlin, and many grandchildren who were privileged to have such a loving mother in their lives.

A viewing service will be held on February 17, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Funeraria Luz De Paz located at 426 E Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Norma May Franklin's departure leaves a void that can never be filled. However, we find solace in knowing that her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all. May she rest in peace knowing that her presence within our hearts remains eternal.
