Bridgeport

Norma Rosado, native of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, was born on October 17, 1955, and left this world peacefully in her home in Bridgeport, CT, on July 20, 2025. She was a beacon of love and support to her family and friends throughout her life, making each moment spent with her cherished and meaningful.

For over 30 years, she dedicated herself to the dental industry, demonstrating remarkable determination and an unwavering work ethic. Norma's journey began in an entry-level position, where her resilience and commitment to excellence led her to rise to the role of dental billing clerk. She worked diligently for many years under the guidance of Dr. Meera Menon, and later at Bridgeport Dental Partners with Dr. Kigon Song. Her dedication to her profession earned her deep respect and admiration from her colleagues.

A beloved matriarch, she took great pride in nurturing her family. The joys of motherhood were embodied in her unconditional love for her daughters, Virginia Rodriguez and Maria Ivelisse Rosado, as well as her grandchildren, Frances, Alyssa, Angel, Antoine, and Waleska. Norma was a widowed mom who tirelessly dedicated herself to the well-being of her family, and her legacy of love will live on through them.

Norma held a special place in her heart for her church family from El Tabernáculo de Fe, embracing them as her own. As a talented singer, she often used her beautiful voice to praise the Lord, earning invitations to sing at community events. Her immense passion for music and service made her a treasured leader of the Worship Team for many years, illustrating her commitment to uplifting those around her through her faith.

Her vibrant personality was marked by loyalty, reliability, and a love for acts of service. Norma was always willing to lend a helping hand, ensuring that everyone felt special, often making it a point to celebrate even the smallest of occasions with a cake. Her warmth and thoughtfulness resonate with all who encountered her, and her attention to detail was a testament to her loving nature.

In her pursuit of personal growth, Norma attended English classes, demonstrating her self-determination as she developed her language skills. Outside her career and obligations, she enjoyed shopping, particularly for trinkets and electronic gadgets, and was mechanically inclined—a true embodiment of her multifaceted talents.

Norma was the eldest of eight siblings, including Benjamin, Idalia, Luis, Carlos, Sindy, and Ginna, and her bonds with them were strong and lasting. Her steadfast love for her family was matched only by her devotion to her parents, Francisco Santa and Santa Ramos, as well as her sister Zulma, who have all passed.

As we gather to say farewell, we invite friends and family to pay their respects at a viewing scheduled for Friday, July 25, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
