Rafael Ivan Tardi Pacheco

Rafael Ivan Tardi Pacheco, a devoted husband, father, and cherished member of the Bridgeport community, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2025, in High Point, North Carolina, at the age of 38. Born on December 15, 1986, in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Rafael touched the lives of many with his warm spirit and unwavering faith.

Known for his beautiful soul and loving nature, Rafael was a man who placed immense value on family centeredness. As a loving and attentive father, he created a profound bond with his children, Kathyshka and Noriel, who were incredibly important to him. His commitment to his family was evident in all that he did, and he considered it both a privilege and a joy to care for them. Rafael's vibrant presence will linger in the hearts of his family forever.

He was not only a devoted father, but also a loving husband to Destiny Hunter. Together, they shared a life filled with laughter and love. Rafael's personality shone brightly in the lives of those around him, as he constantly uplifted others with his strong faith in God and Jesus. He demonstrated kindness and compassion in every interaction, proving to be a steadfast source of support for his loved ones.

A man who enjoyed working out and adored animals, Rafael often found solace in the company of his beloved dog, Romeo, strengthening their special bond through countless joyful moments. His love for life and zest for happiness were infectious, drawing people to him effortlessly.

Rafael is survived by his devoted wife, Destiny Hunter; his children, Kathyshka and Noriel; his mother, Abigail Pacheco; his father, Rafael Tardi Sr.; his sister, Suhairy Tardi Pacheco; his brothers, Michael Tardi Pacheco and Kevin Tardi; and his caring mother-in-law, Shirley Evans. The love and connection between them formed a tapestry of shared memories that will forever be a source of comfort as they navigate life without him.

Friends and family may gather to honor Rafael’s memory on July 18, 2025, at Funeraria Luz De Paz in Bridgeport, Connecticut, with a viewing from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a burial at Lakeview Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

Gone too soon, Rafael Ivan Tardi Pacheco leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and strength that will continue to nurture those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be sorely missed but will remain forever in the hearts of all whose lives he has touched.
