Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Ramon Candanedo, quien partió de este mundo el 16 de mayo de 2026. Nacido el 9 de noviembre de 1946 en Aibonito, Puerto Rico, Ramon vivió una vida definida por su amor inquebrantable hacia su familia y su dedicación a ayudar a los demás.

Hombre de medios sencillos y de una bondad inmensa, Ramon fue conocido principalmente por su trabajo en la industria automotriz, especialmente en “Cash for Cars,” donde dedicó 29 años de su vida ayudando a las personas. Su experiencia e integridad le ganaron el respeto de muchos, y siempre brindó su servicio con una cálida sonrisa y un espíritu firme y generoso.

Su familia era todo para Ramon. Sus hijos — Yesenia, Ramon, Zaida, Evelyn, Hilda, Eric y Damaris— eran su orgullo y alegría, y encontraba una inmensa felicidad en sus logros y bienestar. Muchas de sus tardes transcurrían en la tranquilidad de su hogar, disfrutando de sus peliculas favoritas del Viejo Oeste. También deja en duelo a sus queridos 16 nietos y 11 bisnietos y un tataranieto.

Ramon no solo fue un padre y abuelo ejemplar, sino también un querido hermano de Teodoro Candanedo y hermana Violeta Candanedo con quien compartió innumerables recuerdos entrañables. Su espíritu protector y su naturaleza amorosa dejaron una huella imborrable en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

La vida de Ramon será honrada con un servicio memorial que se llevará a cabo a las 3:00 PM el sábado 30 de mayo de 2026 en Funeraria Luz de Paz, ubicada en 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a reunirse para honrar su memoria y compartir recuerdos de amor, compasión y alegría que reflejan la esencia de quien fue.

En este tiempo de duelo, recordamos a Ramon por su generosidad, su espíritu noble y su papel como padre y hermano amado. Aunque ya no se encuentre físicamente entre nosotros, su legado vivirá para siempre en las vidas que tocó y en el amor que sembró. Su compromiso con su familia y su comunidad continuará inspirando a todos los que lo conocieron. Será profundamente extrañado, pero su espíritu de bondad y amor permanecerá eternamente en nuestros corazones.

Ramon fue precedido en muerte por su madre, Monserrate Candanedo.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ramon Candanedo, who left this world on May 16, 2026. Born on November 9, 1946, in Aibonito, Puerto Rico, Ramon lived a life defined by his unwavering love for his family and his dedication to helping others.A man of simple means and profound kindness, Ramon was primarily known for his work in the automotive industry, particularly at "Cash for Cars," where he dedicated 29 years of his life. His expertise and integrity earned him the respect of many, and he embraced the joy of service with a warm smile and a steadfast spirit.Family was everything to Ramon. His children-Yesenia, Ramon, Zaida, Evelyn, Hilda, Eric and Damaris-were his pride and joy, and he took immense joy in their accomplishments and well-being. Evenings were often spent in the comfort of his home, where he would find solace in watching his favorite Western movies. He also leaves his precious 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson behind.Ramon was not just a father, brother and grandfather, but also a cherished brother to Teodoro Candanedo and sister Violeta Candanedo with whom he shared many fond memories. His nurturing spirit and loving nature made a lasting impact on all who knew him.Ramon's life will be celebrated with a memorial service to be held at 3 pm on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor his memory and share stories of love, compassion, and joy that reflect the essence of his character.In this time of mourning, we remember Ramon for his selflessness, his gentle spirit, and his role as a beloved father and brother. Though he has departed from this world, his legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the love he shared. His commitment to family and community will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit of kindness and love will forever remain in our hearts.Ramon was preceded in death by his mother, Monserrate Candanedo.
