Rogelio Hernandez Cruz

Rogelio Hernandez Cruz, 53, returned to the Loving arms of the Lord on May 30, 2020 in Bridgeport, CT after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Villa de Zaachila, Zaachila, Oaxaca, Mexico to Filomen Hernandez and Yolanda Cruz. Rogelio was a brave soldier in the Mexican army prior to moving to the United States 18 years ago. He was a dedicated construction worker and also worked in the food service industry. He was an avid runner and walker. He took great pride in his sneaker and camouflage collections. He was a very happy and generous person and a loyal friend. Rogelio leaves behind to mourn his memory his beloved Eva Patino, his adoring children Mike, Maria and Citlaly, his cherished siblings Emiliano, Jaquelina, Roberto, Fernando, Jose Luis, Yolanda and Eliseo. He was predeceased by a brother, Eder. Rogelio will be laid to rest in Mexico.
