Ruby Yesenia Reyes

Ruby Yesenia Reyes, a beloved Certified Nursing Assistant, passed away on February 13, 2026, in her hometown of Bridgeport, Connecticut, leaving behind a warm legacy of love and laughter. Born on June 13, 1972, Ruby was known for her outgoing nature, infectious humor, and ability to bring joy into any room she entered. Her friends and family will always remember her as a dedicated jokester, whose wonderful sense of humor left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Ruby dedicated her life to caring for others, spending countless hours helping those in need. Her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant was not just a career for her; it was a calling that showcased her deep compassion and care for humanity. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, making her patients feel comfortable and valued, bringing smiles to their faces during challenging times.

Her love for the outdoors was as vast as her heart. Whether she was enjoying a serene walk or engaging in lively games, Ruby thrived in nature and spent countless treasured moments discovering its beauty. However, nothing brought her more joy than the time spent with her family—her cherished mother and her sons. Ruby was immensely proud of her two sons, Joseph Paris and Jason Franceschi, who were the lights of her life.  She also leaves behind her life partner of over 24 years, Erbin A. Monge.

Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Tatiana, Angel, Hannah, Izaiah, Julianni, and Zayden—who will forever carry the warmth of her love in their hearts. In addition to her immediate family, Ruby was blessed with a supportive circle of relatives, including her parents, Miriam Reyes (Alfredo Andino) and Fabian Reyes; her siblings, Jose Ortiz, Melody Ortiz, Stephanie Ortiz, Luis Ortiz, Leslie Reyes-Milano, Fabian Reyes Jr., Jason Reyes, and Amanda Reyes. Each of them, along with Ruby's many friends, will hold onto the precious memories shared with this remarkable woman.

Ruby Yesenia Reyes leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know her. As we bid farewell to Ruby, let us remember her joyous laughter, her incredible heart, and the countless cherished moments that will forever be etched in our memories.
