Socorro Santiago

Socorro "Soakie" Santiago, 60, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on August 13, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her family.  She was born in Newark, NJ to the late Eduardo Rodriguez and the late Saladora Lugo Rodriguez.

Soakie leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving son Edmond Jackson (Lavette Love) and her dear siblings Eduardo Rodriguez Jr., David Rodriguez and Wanda Rodriguez and a host of friends and relatives that will miss her dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.  Burial will follow immediately after at Park Cemetery, 625 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.
