With profound sorrow and deep love, we announce the passing of Stacey Rosado-Colon, who left this world on August 25, 2025, at the age of 57. Surrounded by her devoted family and friends, Stacey passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, compassion, and unwavering love.

Born on July 30, 1968, Stacey was a vibrant soul—full of life, joy, and a legendary sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest day. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit unshakable, and her heart always open. She was the kind of person who was always there to help, offering comfort, support, and kindness to anyone in need.

Stacey lived in Naugatuck, Connecticut with her beloved husband Enuido Colon and their three cherished dogs, who were part of the family and brought her great joy. She had a deep love for cooking and found happiness in preparing meals that brought people together. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and laughter.

She was the devoted mother of Juan Cortes Jr., and a loving stepmother to Makynzi Colon and Makaylia Colon. Stacey was a cherished sister to Frances Garcia and Daneille Loor, sister-in-law to Jorge J. Garcia and Jorge Loor. She was a beloved aunt to Justin Garcia, Jorge Loor, Tiana Holliday, and Luna M. Loor, and a loving niece to her aunts Miriam Torres and Joann Tope. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren—Jordan Cortes, Jayden Cortes, Savannah Cortes, Andreya Villafane, and Isabella Villafane—who she adored with all her heart.

Her life was a testament to love, generosity, and the power of humor to heal and connect. Stacey’s memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love she gave so freely.

All are invited to attend a celebration of Stacey's life on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
