Termaine Gladden, a talented chef, passed away on December 9, 2023, leaving behind a legacy defined by his determination and love for the culinary arts. Born on April 28, 1981, in Brooklyn, NY, Termaine's passion for cooking began at an early age and grew into a flourishing career that brought joy to all who tasted his creations.

Termaine's journey in the culinary world was marked by an unwavering dedication to his craft. Despite facing health challenges, he never allowed them to hinder his pursuit of excellence. His proudest accomplishment was his ability to overcome these limitations and continue showcasing his talent in the kitchen. Whether it was preparing intricate dishes or whipping up comfort food favorites, Termaine's skills knew no bounds.

Everyone who crossed paths with Termaine can attest to his infectious joyfulness and zest for life. His outgoing nature made him a beloved figure amongst friends and family alike. His immense love for sports was legendary – from baseball and basketball to football – Termaine invested himself wholeheartedly in each game. However, it was his passion for wrestling that truly defined him as a dedicated fan.

Throughout his career, Termaine worked at various establishments as a chef; however, it was within the walls of his own home where his prowess truly shone. His family had the privilege of savoring Termaine's delectable creations on numerous occasions, relishing every bite with pure delight. In the kitchen, he possessed an innate talent that commanded respect and admiration.

In addition to honing his culinary skills, Termaine pursued higher education and attained a degree in culinary arts. This formal training further elevated his abilities and solidified his position.  He was the good fun uncle as he had such a natural ability to connect with children wherever he went especially his nieces and nephews whom he adored. 

On January 3, 2024, friends and family will gather at Funeraria Luz De Paz, located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT, for a viewing event from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A burial service will follow at Park Cemetery Association, situated at 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT, starting at 1:30 PM.

Termaine Gladden will be dearly missed by his loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Hattie Gladden, and his siblings Princess Gladden, Robert Grant Jr., Anthony Grant, William Gladden, and Renee Gladden and brother in law Richard Kearse Sr. His father, Robert Grant Sr., and sisters Jacqueline Kearse and Renee Gladden and brothers William Gladden preceded him in death. Termaine also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were deeply touched by his presence in their lives.  

As we bid farewell to Termaine Gladden, let us remember him not only for his remarkable culinary talents but also for the indomitable spirit he exhibited throughout his life. His infectious laughter and warm personality brought light into countless hearts. May his memory be a source of inspiration for all who were fortunate enough to know him.
