Valentine Rodriguez Jr.

Bridgeport, CT - Valentine Jr., beloved son, father brother, and friend, passed away on January 31, 2024, in Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT. He was born on February 21, 1982, in Bridgeport to Yvette Perez and Valentine Rodriguez, Sr.. Valentine will be remembered for his joyful personality and energetic spirit. He had a loud presence wherever he went and brought light with a goal to bring happiness to those around him. He had a special love for his children and adored his granddaughter Aurora. Spending time with her brought him immense joy and filled his heart with love. Valentine's passion for life extended beyond his role as a father and grandfather. He cultivated meaningful connections with his family and friends who meant the world to him. He was known for his infectious laughter and genuine care for others.

 He is survived by his father Valentine Rodriguez, Sr. and his second dad who raised him as his own Miguel Perez, Sr. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his son Xavier Rodriguez, daughter Daisy Diaz, brother Jonathan Rodriguez, brother Miguel Perez Jr., brother Malik Rodriguez, brother Jeremy Rodriguez, brother Dominck Rodriguez, sister Tinia Rodriguez and baby sister Jazmine Perez.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, February 2, 2024, 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.

Final Disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family. 

During this difficult time of loss, may we find solace in the memories we shared with Valentine. His legacy of love and laughter will forever be engraved in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
