Vicenta Rivera

Vicenta Rivera, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2023, at the beautiful age of 95 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 16, 1928, in El Salvador, Vicenta relocated to the United States some time ago and has resided here since.  

Throughout her life, Vicenta brought joy and love to everyone around her with her welcoming smile and warm personality. She always put the needs of her family first and worked tirelessly to create a comfortable home for them. Her native dishes were among the favorite foods of her loved ones whom she always treated with care and devotion. 

Vicenta's legacy continues through her children, Hilda Medrano de Saravia, Teresa Medrano, Luz Medrano, Isabel Medrano & Gloria Medrano, twenty two grandchildren, and twenty six great-grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren along with numerous relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by two children Ofelia Medrano de Martinez and Roberto Medrano.

The visitation for Vicenta Rivera will be held on Saturday, May 6th, 2023, from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Funeraria Luz De Paz located at 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport CT 06608.

Vicenta will then be sent to her native country of El Salvador for final disposition in the Jardines Del Recuerdo Cemetery in San Salvador, El Salvador.

May Vicenta Rivera rest in eternal peace as she leaves behind a legacy of warmth and affection that will always be remembered by all those who knew her.
