Wayne Fields

Wayne Fields, currently of Bridgeport, age 67, has passed away into peaceful rest on February 12, 2022, in St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT.  He is the son of the late Freddy Fields and the late Thelma Wyatt.  Wayne was born in Brooklyn, New York, and then resided in the Bronx, New York area before most recently relocating to the Bridgeport area.  He had a heart of Gold who loved helping others in need.  He had an outgoing personality and worked hard throughout his life to be an excellent provider for his family. He had a great ear to listen to those around him and always provide some wise advice that would help them through.  He enjoyed Coney Island and simple things made him happy, such as watching a good sci-fi or cracking jokes.  He will be missed by all.

Wayne is the beloved husband of Karen Fields whom he married over 40 years ago.  He is the father of Dwayne Fields and his spouse Ana Orsini and Karmar Fields and Tanya Anderson and her spouse Owen.  In addition to his Immediate family, he is survived by his sister Marlene Alam.  His grandchildren Mykael, Johari, Ricky, India, Orion, Kamara, Hannibal, and Starr.  In addition to a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.   Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 4-7 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06608.

Final disposition will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
