William R. Acevedo Sr.

William R. Acevedo Sr., 77, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on February 5, 2023, in Northbridge Healthcare Center in Bridgeport, CT.  He was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico to the late Florentino Acevedo and Maria Ortiz. He is the beloved husband of Iris Delia.  He was a dedicated employee of General Electric for many years.  He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed constructing and repairing.

William leaves behind to honor his memory his loving sons David Acevedo and William Acevedo Jr., his precious grandchildren Jayden and Eric Acevedo and his dear sisters Rosa Acevedo and Lydia Acevedo and a host of friends and relatives that will miss him dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT.
